There are many tax paying golf courses who are struggling to stay in business while being met with unfair price competition from municipal courses that are inefficiently operated at both the taxpayers expense and most unfairly at the expense of the courses that are paying the taxes that are subsidizing them. Why should taxing entities be competing with tax paying entities. That is taxation without representation which is Unamerican. If taxpaying courses were not meeting the need for public access golf courses, then perhaps there would be a need for municipal course. However, that is not the case and therefore municipal courses in most cases shold be privatized.

I have played at Ponderlodge Clubhouse aka Beerworld since Mr. Schmidt owned it back in the later 70’s. It was a good 9 holes course and in the mid. 80’s an when turned into a challenging 18 holes course for all.

There are several county courses in the state, Why? couldn’t Cape May county taken it over instead of giving it the bird people. This would have given CMC some great revue and senior a place to work, Local students a summer job, Charity golf tournaments, hosting the Cape Atlantic league high school tournament and the building for proms, Wedding, and Banquets.

What money is the Bird People bring in to the county? Just more was wasteful property.
At less the course will give them homes, food and JOBS for people in the county.

Most likely the course will all go private. Most of them are already acting like it now.
